    Tom Bilotta



    Principal, founder, engineer, consultant, you name it, and Tom Bilotta’s done it. Tom served in high-level positions at eight high-tech startups to include two successful exits with cumulative valuation creation in excess of $170 million.


    As a key player in multiple tech organizations –TurboNet Communications, Malibu Networks, Rainbow Network Systems, and Nextivity – Tom upped the value of new companies 15-30 times their initial worth in one to three years.


    He holds an MBA in entrepreneurship from San Diego State University, a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and developed six patents in telecommunications technologies.

    Bob LaRose

    VP, Business Development

    Bob LaRose received a Philmore cat whisker crystal radio set for Christmas at the age of 10 and that was it. He fell in love with radio.


    He pursued that passion and received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. However, he soon found more of an interest in the marketing and sales of radio communications systems, especially in developing countries.


    His involvement in marketing and sales led him to executive management sales positions in domestic and international companies, like Harris Corporation, STORNO (Denmark), Datron World Communications, and Raytheon/JPS Communications.



    Ed Lin

    VP, Engineering


    Ed Lin is Assured Wireless’s resident radio frequency wireless technology expert. Developing leading edge technologies in cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other communications products is his forte. He runs the gamut when it comes to his experience in companies large and small for the past 24 years, fusing innovation with product development to produce cutting-edge technology.


    Ed designed systems for RF Solutions, TurboNet Communications, Public Wireless, Nextivity, Motorola, TV/COM International (Hyundai Electronics) and E-Systems, Inc. (Raytheon) as an electrical engineer.

    Ed is a graduate from Villanova University in Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree from University of Pennsylvania in electrical engineering.



    Sheikh Hafiz

    VP, Product Engineering


    Sheikh was a key player in defining new product and cutting-edge technology commercialization plans at Qualcomm for more than 23 years.


    He led product certification and commercial launch of the first CDMA handset in North America followed multiple 3G/4G commercial handsets and Gobi module product launch in worldwide operators- AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Vodafone, Orange, Telefonica, NTT DoCoMo, China Telecom, America Movile, and others.


    Sheikh has a strong track record of building highly efficient engineering team from ground up and meeting aggressive product launch timeline for new technology adoption through industry and carrier certifications programs. He is driven by new and dynamic challenges with desire to be successful in all endeavors.


    Sheikh received his master’s degree from George Mason University in electrical and computer engineering and bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. Sheikh currently owns 5 key patents on wireless systems and RF designs implementations.

    George Mansho

    VP, Licensing & Strategic Alliances


    Mansho brings together a unique combination of legal experience – from patents and know-how, to understanding the basics of what makes intellectual property valuable – and keen business expertise in the practicalities of monetizing such property in the business world. He also has tremendous experience in international operations and finding the right partners to move technology and products into international markets.


    Mansho spent more than 17 years at Qualcomm, Inc., as a vice president in the legal department, Mansho applied his many years of business development and negotiation skills as well as his wireless ecosystem expertise to ensure rapid and seamless worldwide growth of next-generation wireless technologies and services through licensing Qualcomm’s intellectual property. He then used this experience to open and manage many of Qualcomm’s international operations as a corporate senior vice president. As a senior vice president in Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT), where he was responsible for business development, strategic alliances, and mergers and acquisitions for the semiconductor business.


    Before joining Qualcomm, Mansho spent more than 13 years at Ball Corporation – a FORTUNE 500® packaging and aerospace company – where he held various management and legal positions, including vice president of international and commercial products for Ball’s communications division.


    Mansho holds a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder and practiced law in the State of Colorado and the Federal District Court

    Scott Fox

    Board Member


    Scott Fox actively applies his 40+ years of global experience and leadership in the areas of wireless telecommunications, Public Safety, strategy, technology, business, and entrepreneurial development and execution.


    Scott is currently the CEO of Global View Partners, a privately-held Strategy, Technology, and Business consulting company focused on both emerging and well-established companies across the global wireless ecosystem. Scott is also an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) at University of Colorado’s CU Venture Partners.


    Highlights of Scott’s professional career include: Senior consultant for the FirstNet team on behalf of the U.S. Dept. of Commerce designing and procuring our nation’s next-generation, broadband, Public Safety Network for First Responders; Chief Strategy & Technology Officer for BellSouth/Cingular (now AT&T); long-time Board Member & Chairman – Global GSM Association (the international wireless trade association representing the interested of ~ 800 Wireless Operators in 220 countries of the world); Group President – WFII (took public on the NASDAQ in 1999); Limited Partner in numerous VC / Private Equity funds; and Board of Director roles & experience with over 30+ companies.


    In his personal time, Scott volunteers his time supporting numerous Public Safety entities, is an active mentor, life-long advocate encouraging and supporting more women in venture and technology, father, aspiring musician, and lover of nature and the outdoor.

    Steve Morley

    Board Member


    Steve Morley is a name well-known among startups, mainly because he has founded, advised, or consulted with more a dozen of them.


    Steve’s 21 years in leadership roles launched multiple business units from startup to maturity at Qualcomm Incorporated, helping the company grow from 10 to more than 10,000 employees.


    Steve has established himself as an experienced technical and business executive capable of directing companies through the product launch, organizational structure, and operations management to rapidly evolve the corporate growth cycle.

    Steve received a master’s degree from Stanford in electrical engineering, a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from University of California, Irvine, and holds more than 30 patents.
